Changing Formation in FC 25 Ultimate Team
The 4213 formation is a popular choice in FC 25, offering a balanced mix of defense and attack. Here’s how to quickly switch your formation:
To change formation in FC 25 Ultimate team:
Go to Squad View: Open up your squad view in FC 25 Ultimate Team.
Press L3: Use the L3 button (or the designated button next to squad actions on the left-hand side of the screen).
Select the 4213 Formation: Scroll through your formations until you find 4213, then select it.
Checking Player Suitability
Once you select the 4213 formation, the updated layout displays various positions. Ideally, you’ll need players capable of covering these roles:
Defence: GK, LB, CB, CB, RB
Midfield: CDM, CDM, CAM
Attack: LW, ST, RW

Team Management is where you can customize how your players work together on the pitch with the 4213 formation. Here’s how to access and adjust your tactics:
Access Team Management:
Return to Squad View.
Press L3 (or the corresponding button next to squad actions on the left).
Select the Team Management option.
Edit or Create a Tactic:
Choose “Edit Tactic” or create a new tactic based on your preferences.
Within this menu, you can adjust several key aspects:
Build-Up Style: Options include Counter, Short Passing, and Balanced.
Defensive Approach: Choose from Balanced, High, Aggressive, or Manual.
Player Roles: Adjust each player's role and focus. Look for roles marked with “++” for world-class proficiency. If a player isn’t fitting well into the system, consider finding an alternative that better suits your playing style.
